About

Step back in time with a lively Tudor dance workshop led by the Gallyard Tudor Dancers, part of our Tudors at the Cathedral series. Held in the stunning Cathedral Nave, this interactive evening features at least six dances from the Tudor period, demonstrated in full costume by the group. From elegant courtly steps to energetic peasant routines, each dance is shown and then opened up for everyone to try. It's a relaxed, welcoming way to experience Tudor history through movement. As dancer Glynis Riddle says, "We enjoy what we do and very much hope the audience will too."
