About

Alex Mendham is passionate about the great jazz and swing music from a century ago, and his vibrant, youthful band give classics from Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, and George Gershwin a fresh and stylish makeover for our times.

The glamour, charm, and white-tie elegance are recreated in immaculate detail; from the dress, instruments and even microphones of the era, epitomise the Roaring Twenties. But it is the music that transports us back to Hollywood's golden age and carries us away with some of the greatest songs, sassiest lyrics and foot-tapping dance tunes ever written. This is the style and the soundtrack to one of history's most distinctive decades.
