About

Join Talliston's author and creative director for an intimate talk and soirée supper exploring the incredible transformation of the house and gardens.

With readings from The Talliston Grimoire, The Magical Guidebook to Britain's Most Extraordinary Home, experience the fantastical twenty-five year journey to create the house and gardens, told in story, poetry and song.

The evening will also include a light supper and chance to explore and enjoy the magical interiors, each dressed for this special anniversary weekend.

THE STORY: Talliston House & Gardens
In this intimate, enchanting performance John will take you on a journey through the twenty-five year journey to create the house and gardens. Experience a mix of media from story, poetry and song, plus excerpts from travel journals, the novels and his personal diaries.

FOOD & DRINK: Interval supper
The evening's story cycle will be split into two parts with an interval allowing for food & refreshments. Your ticket includes a light supper, plus hot & cold drinks.

AFTER THE SHOW: Q&A and Soirée
Once the second half is over, there will be time for a Q&A with John in the Watchtower – as well as time to relax and explore Talliston's many rooms,
each one a story in themselves.

FREE GIFT! Every guest will receive a signed copy of the Talliston Architectural Room Plans.
