About

Join us for a fantastic night of live music in the atmospheric Tapestry Room of the Castle.

Formed in 1991, the English duo RAG MAMA RAG quickly made their reputation as one of the best country blues groups in Europe. With an interesting and wide range of instruments including acoustic, National, Dobro and Hawaiian guitars, ukulele, Harmonica, Washboard, other percussion and vocals, RAG MAMA RAG play an array of American music from the 1920s, 30s and 40s encompassing different styles of Country, Blues, Ragtime Blues, Mississippi Blues and their own compositions. Their repertoire is distinguished and very varied and after 30 years of touring, they are still on the road and appearing at many big festivals in Europe.

This is an accessible show, situated on the Castle's ground floor. A full bar will be available on the evening. Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7.30pm start. The bar will close at 11pm.
