Start by responding to a "surprise" still life arrangement revealed at the beginning of the session, encouraging spontaneous reactions rather than over-planning.

Build your painting through loose shapes, expressive brushwork, and close observation of colour and light, letting the scene emerge as you work.

Work in a relaxed, supportive environment, share ideas with the group, and experiment with how you see and interpret form.

You'll leave with a finished Impressionist-inspired still life painting and new confidence in expressive painting.

Basic materials provided. Food and drink is also available for purchase throughout the session from our cafés.
