The critically-acclaimed Pantaloons invade the stage in this funny yet faithful open-air adaptation of H. G. Wells' sci-fi classic as they use musical instruments, puppetry and, um, enthusiasm to recreate deadly heat-rays, giant fighting-machines, squidgy tentacled Martians and interplanetary warfare on an epic scale. The Café & Bar will be open in the Castle – picnics welcome, bring a blanket and something to sit on. There will be hot food and a bar available on the evening.

Gates open from 6pm, performance starts at 7pm.
