At Sushi and Salad Saffron Walden, we serve authentic Japanese food with a fresh, modern twist. Our menu features everything from sushi and sashimi to warming ramen bowls, donburi, tempura, and Japanese-style street food.

We serve our food tapas-style, meaning dishes arrive fresh from the kitchen as soon as they’re prepared by our chefs. It’s a relaxed, social way of dining, perfect for sharing and exploring a variety of flavours.

Prices range from £3.92 for a classic miso soup, to £7.12 for sushi rolls, and up to £43 for our Combo for Two or £76 for our Combo for Three, which are packed with a selection of sushi, starters, and mains to share.

During the day, guests often enjoy our lighter dishes or our warm bowls dishes and our range of Japanese-imported teas for a calming break or casual lunch.

In the evenings, the experience becomes more indulgent, as diners tend to order more sake, Japanese cocktails, and a selection of wines to enjoy alongside their food, making for a richer, more leisurely experience.

We also offer a separate vegan menu, with plant-based sushi, warm dishes, and sharing options – all full of flavour and creativity.
