Jesus College Choir (c) Nick Rutter

About

Handel's Messiah holds a special place in many people's hearts over Christmas, but perhaps more so in 2021. After a year without the triumphant 'Hallelujah' chorus ringing out, Britten Sinfonia gives an intimate, impassioned performance. A line up of rising-star soloists – that includes contralto Jess Dandy who featured in this year's First Night of the Proms – joins conductor David Watkin and the Choir of Jesus College, Cambridge.
