Help Sherlock Bones to solve the mystery of the missing bones at Mountfitchet Castle. From the 24th October to the 1st November 2026, put your detective skills to the test and see if you can find and collect all the hidden bone stamps around the castle and museum. Once you have found all 7 bone stamps you can collect your prize from our souvenir shop. Sherlock Bones is included with your normal admission ticket, with no additional charge, making it the perfect Halloween adventure for the whole family. Can you find them all?

Mountfitchet Castle is easy to get to from all directions and is only 2 miles from Junction 8 of the M11 – just follow the brown tourist signs to the centre of Stansted Mountfitchet village.
