Thaxted Parish Church will be holding its annual May Fayre on Bank Holiday Monday 4th May, from 10.00am until 1.00pm.
There will be lots of traditional stalls, including plants, cakes, preserves, toys, clothes, bric-a-brac and delicious home-made refreshments, The Thaxted Morris Men will also be dancing in the Churchyard, which always proves to be a popular attraction. Paul Meader, form the Church, said "Our traditional May fayre is perfect for all the family, and we look forward to welcoming everyone into Thaxted's beautiful Church". The Church is currently fundraising for new lighting and money raised will go towards the project and maintenance of the historic building.
